I graduated with a Bioenvironmental Sciences degree from Texas A&M University in 2004. I've worked in the environmental, health and safety industry for the past 10 years. I have been involved with several career days at various middle schools teaching students about science and how I've used it in my career. I enjoy teaching and getting the students excited about learning science and math.
Experience
Unfortunately, I don't have any kids of my own but I love helping kids. I love science and it has been a passion of mine since I was very young. To get where I am today, school didn't come easy and I had to study a lot, but has helped me understand why some students struggle in school. I spent a lot of time with various tutors and I would like to give back. I would like to help other students become successful in their lives and careers.

My hobbies and interests are being with family and friends, reading and helping with animal rescue. My mom and I share the love of helping animals and do volunteer work together. I currently have a rescue dog that I love taking to the dog park and spending time with. In my down time, I enjoy reading fiction books. I can dive into a good book that inspires my imagination any day!
